Wings of Paradise #2

This is a macro shot taken of a butterfly feeding. The colours (purple and green) make a colourful background.

The center is more foccused than the rest of the picture. The entire background is blurry.
The lighting was indoor, but several lights in the room. It appears as outdoor, which makes it focas fairly clear.

Bare Tree.

The angle on this photo is really different than a lot of my others. I like the details in the tree trunk and how the tree almost climbs up sideways (the effect).
It was taken outside, all natural lighting. The background sky in the top right corner is fairly light and ties well with the dark branches.

The Stage.

Indoor lighting and semi poor quility. The macro works for the plastic flower at the front but gets more blurry in all the other places, including the middle of the flower.
The colours and the shades of red go good with the background colours. If the background was darker it would most likely stand out better.  Indoor lighting is usually not very effective but it worked a bit more for this photo due to the lighter colours.

Snow.

I like this picture because parts are blurry in the background, where as the snow is really clear.
In some parts you can see individual snow flakes that sort of stand out around the edges.
The colours go from dark to completely white in the middle. The lighting is natural/outdoor.
